Meet Molly!
Molly is a sweet 6 month old girl who came to us after her previous owner rescued her from a terrible place. She lived in a cage most of her life however is loving life as a real dog. She is your typical puppy. Because of living in a cage even though she is 6 months old she truly with her training acts like a 12 week old puppy. We are working with her on basic commands and potty training. So this means no, she cannot go 6 to 8 to 10 hours without being let out. Please consider this. She is going to require someone to have a strict schedule with her and work on potty training and all the other fun things to teach a puppy. She loves being goofy and playing and coming in the house grabbing your shoe be running like a mad man. Your typical happy go lucky puppy. She loves other dogs and loves to play! The cats aren’t to fond of her because she likes to chase them and wants to play. She would do best in a very active home where she can get all the exposure and training she missed out on. She would also do good with another young dog that will keep her company and play with her. She is finishing up her vaccines and other necessities and then will be ready for her best forever home. We have opened up applications on her a little early as we suspect a high volume. Please be patient with processing applications as it is the holidays and vets will be closed making the process take a little longer. Remember dogs are not presents for your family. You will not be surpring them bringing home a puppy. We do home visits, vet checks etc and want to reassure yes it is the holiday but we will be making sure Molly will be going to the VERY BEST forever home like all of our dogs. This is a 10-15 year commitment. A lot of people see a cute photo of a dog and want it, however we are not about that. Please consider the commitment a dog is and not apply based on looks. Be sure you understand the specific dogs needs to succeed in life and are able to provide that.
